Located right across from Sitka's "Whale Park", the Alaskan
Pacific Chalet has a trail that goes down to the park, along with
several other hiking trails through the forest. All of these trails
can be accessed from the front door of the home.
Whale Park offers a wonderful view of Silver Bay, where you can
often watch sea otter, seals and whales as they frolic and play..
Countless other trails and lakes are minutes away, including; Blue
Lake-great for trout fishing, Thimbleberry Lake and waterfall, Tongass
National Forest, Totem Park and more! All just a few minutes from
